I have had some tasty baked goods from Marmar. The huge problem with Marmar however is the counter staff. A friend and I have stopped in many times over the years and at times have purchased a fair amount of pasties (sic) and cookies to take home and share with friends and family. The woman behind the counter, who I believe is also the owner, is never very friendly or really seems to appreciate our business. My co-shopper refers to her as a sour puss. So I walked in again this past weekend prepared to drop some cash, and she gave me a hello. Nothing overly friendly, but adequate. The couple that followed me in she then asked how are you two doing and offered to help them even though I had already walked in before them. I walked out never to return due to her poor attitude. My friend did not walk in at all and says that anyone that hates their job that much just shouldn't bother working with the public. Agreed!
